$85,000–$100,000 base

Key Responsibilities

As the Property Accountant, you will:

Perform full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties
Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze financial results
Partner with property managers and ownership groups to resolve accounting issues and answer financial questions
Support onboarding of new properties and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this Property Accountant role will have:

2+ years of property accounting experience
Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close
Experience working with multiple properties and managing competing deadlines
Yardi or similar property management software experience preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
