Apprentice Closing & Reporting

In this role you will support the team responsible for the actual consolidation and financial reporting of all 300+ GE Healthcare entities. You will learn about technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver timely and accurate actual financial reporting.

The apprentice will provide operational and analytical support to the Closing & Reporting team, assisting with accounting, reporting, and transformation activities. The role offers opportunities to develop technical accounting and financial analysis skills while gaining hands-on experience in global finance processes under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and posting of journal entries in compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Perform basic equity investment calculations and assist with related financial reporting activities.
• Conduct financial analyses and data reviews to support business and accounting decisions.
• Assist the team in delivering global transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in operational and reporting processes, gaining exposure to complex accounting activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues across functions to support month-end close, reporting, and ad hoc projects.
• Contribute to process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts.
