We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Staff Accountant to join a growing organization during an exciting period of transformation and growth. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will support day-to-day accounting operations while helping strengthen and scale the accounting function for the future.

The successful candidate will bring strong general ledger and month-end close experience, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and be comfortable supporting both transactional accounting activities and broader process improvement initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $60,000 - $72,000
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable, including reviewing and coding vendor invoices, obtaining approvals, and initiating timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Process accounts receivable, including preparing and issuing customer invoices and receiving and applying customer payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger, including recording additions and disposals, calculating depreciation, and reconciling to the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis, researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting account analyses.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries, resolving billing and payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and day-to-day use of ERP and accounting systems.
- Assist with annual audit and tax preparation activities by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and support a scalable finance function.
- Support inventory-related accounting activities and other manufacturing accounting processes as needed.
- Assist with special projects and additional accounting responsibilities as the accounting function continues to evolve and grow.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close activities.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with inventory accounting and/or cost accounting preferred.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems in a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and reconcile accounting data accurately.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is a plus.
- Comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes, systems, and responsibilities continue to develop.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- High level of integrity and accountability.

- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines.
