Staff Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting procedures and practices.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Nice to have Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
