Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end accounting activities as per IFRS for all EMEA legal entities
  • Review monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for group reporting purposes and identify opportunities for improvement from a finance and operation perspective
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolve any issues with outstanding open items and ensure a clean balance sheet
  • Provide financial analysis and accounting support for members of the Tait Global & Regional Leadership Team and other functional managers as required.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory and statutory filing and reporting requirements
  • Prepare and post Intra-company recharges and transfer pricing adjustments
  • Manage and co-ordinate annual external audit
  • Calculate monthly sales commissions
  • Support forecasting process and prepare robust variance analysis
  • Work with and support outsourced partners to prepare local GAAP financial statements
  • Ad hoc reporting, analysis or project participation as required
  • Monitor and control operational expenses vs. budget

Requirements:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in an International Accounting environment
  • Knowledge and experience of working with ERP systems. SAP S4 Hana, R/3 or Fiori experience an advantage
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially excel
  • Fluent in English and German. French advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Ability to work remotely and effectively communicate and collaborate with remote teams
