The RoleWe are looking for an experienced, dependable Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team.
We work with established small and mid-sized businesses that rely on us to keep their financial records accurate, organized, and up to date. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bookkeeping, likes solving problems, takes pride in getting things right, and can confidently manage responsibilities for multiple clients.
We are looking for someone who can become a trusted member of our team, take ownership of assigned work, and grow with our firm over time.
What You'll Do- Manage bookkeeping for multiple client accounts
- Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and other balance sheet accounts
- Review and categorize transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable as assigned
- Assist with payroll and payroll-related bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and organized Quick Books files
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Assist with bookkeeping cleanups and new-client setups
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain supporting documentation and organized client records
- Communicate professionally with clients when information or clarification is needed
- Work with the team to meet monthly deadlines and maintain consistent client service
- Follow established firm procedures, checklists, and quality-control standards
- At least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, including reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements
- Experience with Quick Books Online
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines
- Comfortable researching discrepancies and solving problems independently
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of assigned work - Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
- Willingness to follow established processes and ask questions when something doesn't make sense
- Quick Books Online Pro Advisor certification
- Payroll experience
- Experience working in a bookkeeping, accounting, or professional services firm
- Experience with construction, job costing, or project-based accounting
- Accounting or bookkeeping degree/certification
