, a global leader in poultry processing technology, is seeking an Accounting Specialist Intern/Temporary Associate to support our Accounts Receivable and Collections team. This approximately six-month assignment offers valuable exposure to accounting operations, financial processes, and ERP systems, with the potential to transition into a full-time position for candidates interested in relocating to the Westminster, SC area.

What You Will Do

• Assist with customer invoicing and invoice entry into customer portals.
• Support accounts receivable collections activities and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
• Help review and process cash receipts, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Assist with accounts receivable reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate billing inquiries and support the resolution of customer account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Provide support during month-end close activities and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with accounting, sales, and operations teams to ensure efficient financial processes.

What You Bring

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in accounting and finance.
