SummaryWe are currently hiring for the position of Infusion Center Medical Receptionist. This position is responsible for greeting incoming patients and performing other clerical/administrative duties to support the infusion center while supporting and demonstrating Twelve Stone’s values and philosophies in the accomplishment of our mission. This position is not eligible for telework.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Schedule patient appointments.
- Receive and sort mail, scan documents, etc.
- Collects data from patients, including insurance information, demographics, and home medication lists.
- Verifies benefits prior to Infusion Center appointments.
- Collects Out of Pocket/Co-insurance payments from patients.
- Greets patients and families, answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate person.
- Check in patients for the infusion center appointments.
- Must report to work on time, maintain acceptable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role, medical practice setting/reception preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office and familiar with other technology.
