Purchasing Associate

Location: Adairsville

Purchasing Associate (Bilingual Korean Required) Timpl has partnered with a leading global manufacturer of innovative building and industrial materials, specializing in surfaces, flooring, and automotive components. . And they're looking for a Purchasing Associate.

Key Responsibilities  
* Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services  according to company requirements.  
* Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and maintain accurate  procurement records.  
* Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, track shipments, and resolve  delivery issues.  
* Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and  pricing compliance.  
* Maintain and update vendor master data and procurement files.  
* Assist in negotiating prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers under  supervision of Purchasing Manager.  
* Support inventory management by coordinating with warehouse and production  teams to ensure material availability.  
* Participate in cost analysis, spend reporting, and procurement process  improvements.  
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and  regulatory requirements. Qualifications  
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field  preferred.  
* 1-3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.  
* Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory  systems.  
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.  
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems (SAP  preferred).  
* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.  
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.  
* Bilingual (English/Korean or English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
