Role Overview

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the Elastic technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape.
• Actively contribute to and own sales plan creation, compensation structures, and customer segmentation.
• Ensure attainment of assigned sales quotas by driving Elastic’s sales methodology and leading from the front.
• Foster an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the open‑source community and partner ecosystems.
• Travel regularly to assist in deal creation and closure, and support the team as required.
• Partner across Elastic’s leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast‑paced, technical client‑acquisition business.
• Strong SaaS sales leadership in the Enterprise/Strategic market.
• Executive‑level relationships with key accounts.
• Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation consists of a base salary plus variable component, together forming the On‑Target Earnings (OTE) with a 60/40 base/variable mix. Typical ranges for new hires are:

• Base Salary: $170,000—$268,800 USD
• Target Variable: $113,200—$179,100 USD
• On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $283,200—$447,900 USD
