Salary Range: $59,000.00 – $65,000.00 Annually
Department: Vehicle Processing Center (VPC)
Reports to: VPC Senior Manager
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM‑5 PM (possible weekends and overtime)
Position Summary: Oversee UC/UBC installation process and vehicle loading processes for both UC/UBC and Signoff areas. Manage employees, payroll, address attendance and disciplinary actions while assigning manpower to ensure production goals are achieved.
Responsibilities- Effectively conduct meetings and other required sessions for communication of production, quality, safety, and cost requirements.
- Ensure timeliness completion and quality of work performed by Team Members.
- Oversee, order and ensure accountability of tools and appropriate materials.
- Perform periodic audits to ensure installations are effectively performed.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed on each install according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Responsible for maintaining payroll during the shift and assigning overtime as warranted.
- Understanding of automotive installations and maintaining SWIS documents.
- Perform administrative activities and record keeping associated with managing the UC/UBC and loading operations. Understand spreadsheets and maintain, and track data to show improvements in the department.
- Maintain accurate production records for each installer. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits and reports as required. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure success of our operations.
- Participate in continuous improvements activities, safety walks, and production meetings.
- Support department to ensure KPI's and company goals are achieved to a high standard.
- Work overtime as assigned to support HMGMA lines and production as needed.
Education:
- High school, Some College, or College Degree
Experience:
- 1‑2 years of management experience is a plus, preferably in an automotive or production environment
Skills & Knowledge:
- Good understanding of Microsoft applications. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Create, present, and discuss presentations as needed.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items.
