Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator III located at the Redstone Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL
. Astrion has worked extensively with the Redstone Test Center where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in a project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college.
  • Six (6) years of applicable experience in program finance or project management, including experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestone; providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs; validating costs; establishing and updating forms in multiple software packages to ensure customer has complete and accurate project information at all times;

    coordinating administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of project management to track the cost and schedule of tests, ensuring labor, flights, material, and travel charges are correct; communicating funding status to customers; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure cost objectives are not exceeded; and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data form multiple sources.
  • Must be motivated, dependable, and be able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must have a commitment to customer satisfaction including attention to detail – as well as supportive of process improvements.
  • Must be a proficient user of MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, One Note, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideas S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Possess, or able to obtain a DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance
  • Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events
  • Familiar with and able to present data and recommendations to a large audience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Demonstrated proficiency with management of tactical and strategic communications
  • Prefer experience/skills coordinating projects; reviewing technical documents; compiling statistics and data for projects; developing integrated schedules, writing narratives. Professional user of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Experience with U.S. Army and U.S. Army missiles and technologies, and/or knowledge of different types of government funding are pluses.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable
  • Experience working with executives and senior management required
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the TAGM Account by monitoring cost, schedule, and performance of all assigned TAGM JAGM / HELLFIRE activities at the Center level.
  • Ensure regular communication between Customers and all members of the test team, including Account Management, Test Coordinators, and Test Engineers.
  • Support the definition of test requirements with the Customer and test team while monitoring the requirements for additions throughout testing.
  • Support the scheduling of coordination meetings, HAWGs, TRRs, and regular customer status meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the customer and test team for status during test execution across the Center for assigned projects.
  • Monitor program test schedules and identify conflicts.
  • Elevate risks and issues to JTMO and Account Management.
  • Assist in corrective actions for issues related to cost, schedule, performance, or deliverable timeliness.
