- Dismantle and assemble piping systems, treatment plant equipment, and machines.
- Move pipe, equipment, and machines using hoists, dollies, rollers and hand trucks.
- Assemble and install piping systems such as ductile iron, PVC, steel, copper and black iron.
- Install equipment such as pumps, collection mechanisms, generators, tanks, motors, shafting, conveyors and rail systems.
- Set and check anchor bolts, imbeds and fastening devices before concrete placements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety, quality work, and cost-effective completion of tasks common to the pipe layer trade for complex projects is emphasized.
Work is to be performed both inside and outside.
Must have reliable transportation. Satisfactory attendance is required.
All new hires must take a pre-employment drug test and all IHC employees must participate in IHC’s random drug testing program.
