Duties Will Include- The ability to read plans (both civil and architectural)
- The ability to process submittals and shop drawings
- The ability to perform job costing and analysis (both short‑term and long‑term forecasting)
- The ability to prepare construction time schedules (prefer experience in Microsoft Project)
- Prepare and submit monthly billings and invoicing
- Process change orders
- Process subcontractor billing and change orders
- Ordering and tracking of material shipments
- Attend weekly meetings with owners, subs, vendors and Talley personnel
- Liaison between jobsite superintendent and office staff
- Analyze bid documents, plans, blueprints, and specs to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Solicit and manage subcontractor and vendor quotes
- Monitor and analyze costs versus bid during construction phase
- Willingness to be flexible in duties and to have a “get‑it‑done” attitude
- Must pass post‑offer drug screen
- Must provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the US
- All new hires will be processed through E‑Verify
- Some travel may be required
- This position will require work in the field
- Minimum three years’ experience in heavy civil construction project management, including sitework, grading, sewer, stormwater, and water main projects
- Associate’s degree preferred (civil, engineering, or construction management)
- Experience in estimator bidding on DOT projects preferred
- Project management experience required; estimating experience is a plus
- Knowledge of take‑off software preferred (Agtek Software Plus experience a plus)
- Knowledge of estimating software preferred (HCSS Heavybid Software Plus experience a plus)
