• The ability to read plans (both civil and architectural)
• The ability to process submittals and shop drawings
• The ability to perform job costing and analysis (both short‑term and long‑term forecasting)
• The ability to prepare construction time schedules (prefer experience in Microsoft Project)
• Prepare and submit monthly billings and invoicing
• Process change orders
• Process subcontractor billing and change orders
• Ordering and tracking of material shipments
• Attend weekly meetings with owners, subs, vendors and Talley personnel
• Liaison between jobsite superintendent and office staff
• Analyze bid documents, plans, blueprints, and specs to gain a thorough understanding of the project
• Solicit and manage subcontractor and vendor quotes
• Monitor and analyze costs versus bid during construction phase
• Willingness to be flexible in duties and to have a “get‑it‑done” attitude
• Must pass post‑offer drug screen
• Must provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the US
• All new hires will be processed through E‑Verify
• Some travel may be required
• This position will require work in the field

• Minimum three years’ experience in heavy civil construction project management, including sitework, grading, sewer, stormwater, and water main projects
• Associate’s degree preferred (civil, engineering, or construction management)
• Experience in estimator bidding on DOT projects preferred
• Project management experience required; estimating experience is a plus
• Knowledge of take‑off software preferred (Agtek Software Plus experience a plus)
• Knowledge of estimating software preferred (HCSS Heavybid Software Plus experience a plus)
