Scroggs & Grizzel Contracting Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Carpenter/Laborer to join their team in Clermont, GA. Responsibilities:- Perform rough and finish carpentry work on commercial construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to complete tasks accurately
- Frame walls, install doors, windows, and other structural components
- Assist with general labor duties including site prep, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with crew members, subcontractors, and site supervisors
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols on the job site
- Prior experience in commercial construction, carpentry, or general labor preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed construction plans preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard construction equipment
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Reliable transportation to job sites in and around the Clermont, GA area
- OSHA 10 certification a plus, but not required
