Responsibilities
  • Use artistic skills and design principles to plan, develop, and design creative, aesthetic materials targeted to a specific audience.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of designs that align with company goals and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date brand guidelines.
  • Translate client needs into design options, balancing project goals with time and budget constraints.
  • Review all art projects from conception to print, ensuring the highest quality output.
  • Research design trends, techniques, technology, and software.
  • Oversee print specifications such as color, size, layout, paper type, and other features.
  • Coordinate with various departments and customers to determine project needs and develop project plans.
  • Enhance the company’s designs relative to competitors.
  • Influence company policy to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Make process and business decisions based on understanding of industry practices and standards.
  • Perform high‑quality analysis consistently.
  • Apply innovative ideas to improve business results.
  • Lead after‑action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of color correction, image resolution, advanced photography skills, and current workflow procedures.
  • Experience with post‑production editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, and Spark.
Desired Skills
  • In‑depth conceptual and practical knowledge in graphic design.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High integrity and discretion with confidential data.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.
  • Comfortable using both Mac and PC.
  • Understanding of graphic illustration and art design principles.
  • Proficiency with AI tools for image generation, video, and design.
  • Editorial/print publication experience preferred.
  • Project management and execution skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, teamwork, and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formal guidelines.
