Lead the church in a music ministry that will inspire and enhance congregational worship and spiritual growth, engage all age levels in a variety of music experiences and education, and promote music as an important part of meaningful corporate and personal worship and spiritual growth. Must have the ability and desire to bring a modern edge to the music program while celebrating traditions and hymns.

Individual must have a passion for music and a commitment to using music to lead others to worship.

• Bachelor's degree in music education, music performance or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to direct choirs, ensembles, and instrumental groups.
• Knowledgeable of Christian music.

• a self-motivated leader who has a passion for music ministry in the church.
• agreement with the doctrinal position of the United Methodist Church.
• strong leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• a desire to work as a team with pastor, staff, and laity.
• an ability to work with a wide range of personalities.
• an encouraging and supportive spirit.
• a personal commitment to God.
• a demonstrated work ethic.

Sundays mornings, Wednesdays evenings, and possibly for other special events. The position is part-time and salaried and based on 10-15 hours per week. Schedule will vary depending on the time of the year and special events.
