- Musical Proficiency: Strong vocal leadership, musical ability, and the capability to lead and coordinate choral and instrumental accompaniment.
- Relational Focus: A natural "people person" who is approachable and comfortable encouraging others into ministry.
- Administrative Diligence: Organized approach to planning rehearsals, selecting music in advance, and communicating clearly with staff and volunteers.
- Experience in congregational worship or choral leadership preferred.
- A teachable spirit, a heart for ministry, and a desire to grow as a leader are highly valued.
- A heart for ministry that aligns with the mission of Grayson United Methodist Church. A leader that is humble, patient, not overbearing, and approachable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and relational health.
This position sits within the Pastoral and Ministry Staff branch of our organization. You will work alongside our Modern Worship leader to ensure our musical offerings are holistic and healthy.
