Bethlehem Christian Academy is looking for a creative, driven Social Media & Content Specialist to own our story across every platform. You'll walk our campus daily — camera in hand — capturing student life as it happens: athletics, classrooms, fine arts, chapel, and the everyday moments that make BCA special. If you live and breathe Reels, photography, and building an engaged online community, and you want your work to serve a mission bigger than yourself, we'd love to meet you.
This role reports to the Communications Director.
What You'll Do- Own BCA's presence on Instagram, Facebook, X, You Tube, and potentially Tik Tok — strategy, posting, and daily Stories from around campus
- Shoot and edit scroll-stopping Reels, photos, and short-form video on both a Canon camera and iPhone
- Edit in Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro; design on-brand graphics, flyers, and templates in Canva
- Track performance weekly (reach, saves, shares, profile visits, link clicks, follower growth) and turn insights into a better next post
- Connect content to real outcomes: website traffic, inquiry forms, event attendance, and admissions interest
- Coordinate shoots and event coverage with teachers, coaches, and staff, and plan content weeks to months ahead
- Uphold BCA's visual identity and keep our asset library organized and accessible
- Engage our audience warmly and on-brand, and elevate admissions inquiries promptly
- 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in social media management, content creation, or a related marketing role
- 2+ years of photography experience (Canon preferred); comfortable shooting in manual mode
- Entry/intermediate video skills on both a dedicated camera and iPhone
- A strong portfolio of Reels, photography, graphic design, and social work
- Experience using analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, platform‑native) to guide decisions
- Working knowledge of brand awareness, audience targeting, and conversions
- Canva required;
Photoshop and Illustrator a plus - A genuine love for working with children, families, and staff
- Must be at least 18 and able to complete a background check, CPR, and First Aid training

ScheduleFull-time, salaried, 40 hours/week, built around the school calendar with flexible hours set alongside the Communications Director. Evening coverage for events, athletics, and fine arts is part of the role (event nights can run until 8:00–10:00pm, with advance notice).
