Job SummaryUnder limited supervision, Mini Golf & Bike Rental Guest Services is responsible for the daily operations of mini‑golf and bike rentals. Daily duties include delivering exceptional customer experience, assisting guests with mini‑golf clubs and bike rentals, operating a computerized point‑of‑sale system, accurate cash handling, maintaining cleanliness, and minor repairs to bicycles.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer experience, enforcing rental policies in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Provide information about facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations.
- Provide guests with additional information about Jekyll Island and attractions, and maintain knowledge of amenities and ongoing events.
- Complete guest transactions and handle them appropriately.
- Facilitate daily facility and group mini‑golf and bike rental events.
- Ensure that different facility areas are kept clean and properly maintained.
- Operate a point‑of‑sale computer and a cash drawer.
- Record details of attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, or repair activities.
- Complete the daily duties assigned and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Participate in training activities to optimize necessary skills and guest experience.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Must have customer service experience.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Computer skills required; previous experience with point‑of‑sale a plus.
- Successful completion of background check required.
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently and a negligible amount constantly to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
- Between 25% and 50% of the typical workday will be spent standing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Less than 25% of the typical workday will consist of stooping and/or crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to read and write, and clearly communicate.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
- Subject to work both inside and outside with extended periods in outside conditions, will be exposed to sun, heat & humidity, cold, and rain.
