Summary:

Customer Account Representative's focus is to prioritize and fulfill the customer requirements and demands to exceed their expectations.

Essential Functions:

This position is responsible for working with the account team members to perform the following tasks, duties and responsibilities for the customer:

Process purchase orders, return orders, and customer credits into ERP system.

Manage customer-specific order lines and forecast to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Respond to customers in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints and issues quickly.

Escalate urgent orders appropriately to ensure timely resolution.

Ensure on time delivery of parts for the customer to meet their expectations and requirements.

Independently prioritize workload to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Monitor new part process to ensure PPAP and tooling orders are processed efficiently.

Assist quality and production with part rejections as needed.

Monitor pricing issues on orders with the sales department and update as needed.

Assist with internal and external container issues and concerns.

Direct requests to the appropriate person or department.

Work effectively with different departments to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service.

Professionally communicate accurate information to internal and external customers.

Adapt to customers preferred way of communication.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.

Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction through direct interactions with customers.

Qualifications,

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Graduation from high school, plus one year of related training. Preferred:
Bachelor's or Associates Degree or related on-the-job training

Experience and

Skills Required:

Must be flexible with a willingness to perform the jobs personally as well as through delegation or interaction with others.

Ability to work with minimum direction but will understand the importance of clear and effective communication with the President, leadership team and others with whom, the position interacts.

Ability to operate general office equipment including manufacturing/production applications and financial spreadsheet, email and word processing applications on a microcomputer.
