Customer Service Representative
A growing organization within the single-family rental and property management industry is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join its Atlanta team. This position is being added to support a high volume of resident calls, emails, and service inquiries. The CSR will serve as a key point of contact for residents, helping answer questions, resolve concerns, explain billing and account information, and provide a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of customer service experience, particularly within property management or real estate, who is confident handling difficult conversations, able to diffuse challenging situations, and comfortable working independently. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term conversion. Responsibilities:- Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and provide professional, solutions-focused customer service.
- Answer high-volume incoming calls and respond to resident emails.
- Assist residents with questions regarding billing, rent, accounts, payments, and property concerns.
- Greet and assist walk-in residents and prospective residents.
- Complete resident welcome calls and emails.
- Review resident ledgers and assist with account-related questions.
- Make outbound calls to residents regarding past-due rent and delinquent accounts.
- Accept rent payments and forward them to the appropriate internal team.
- Assist residents with property issues and general property condition concerns.
- Process HAP applications and assist with communication with Housing Authorities.
- Assist with resident communications related to HOA violations.
- Create and maintain smart home accounts for residents.
- Monitor and complete assigned action items through Salesforce.
- Maintain accurate resident and account information.
- Work collaboratively with the property management team to resolve resident concerns.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Assist with additional administrative and customer service responsibilities as needed.
- 1-2 years of prior customer service experience required.
- Property Management or Real Estate experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience with property management software preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling escalated or difficult calls.
- Comfortable diffusing challenging situations and having difficult conversations.
- Thick-skinned and able to handle a high-volume customer service environment.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.
- Eager to learn and highly trainable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems.

- Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM.
- Business casual/professional dress code.
- Position reports directly to Victoria.

- Training will be provided directly by Victoria.
- Interview process consists of one onsite interview.
- 7-year county and federal background check required.
- No drug screen required.
- Position is structured as contract-to-hire, with an anticipated conversion after approximately 6 months.
- Expected start date is approximately 5 days after receiving an offer.
