Schedule: 2-3 days a week, within the hours of Monday, Wednesday or Thursday 8‑5, Tuesday 8‑7.

PH Part‑Time Pediatric Dentist within the District Two Public Health Dental Department serving Hart County & Franklin County.

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of staff.
• Diagnoses, treats, prevents and controls disorders of the teeth and mouth including gums and related oral structures.
• May treat diseases of nerve, pulp and other dental tissues affecting vitality of teeth.
• Perform hygiene exams.
• Perform dental exams.
• Take x‑rays.
• Apply fluoride and/or sealants.
• Perform prophylaxis, restorations and extractions.
• Prescribe medications for dental problems.
• Keep records relating to health and treatment of patients.
• Work within an equal partnering team and may instruct dental and non‑dental staff.
• Experience with pediatric dentistry.
• Willingness to travel (potential reimbursement).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Familiarity with Medicaid & CHIPS program.
• Comfortable with pediatric practices.

• Doctorate or professional degree in dentistry from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience.
• Current Georgia license to practice dentistry.
