Design Architect
Atlanta, GA | On-Site role
Full-Time | $70 - $80K, depending on experience
Summary:
- The Design Architect is responsible for developing detailed construction documents and technical drawings for commercial architectural projects.
- This role works closely with project managers, project architects, and consultants to translate design concepts into accurate, coordinated construction documentation using Revit.
- The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit and has a strong understanding of commercial building systems, codes, and construction processes.
- Develop and produce detailed construction documents and drawing sets using Revit for commercial projects.
- Translate conceptual designs into coordinated architectural plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Assist project architects and project managers with design development and documentation throughout project phases.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, and other consulting disciplines.
- Maintain Revit models and ensure drawing accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Review drawings for constructability, code compliance, and completeness.
- Incorporate redlines and revisions from project leadership into drawing sets.
- Assist in preparing permit and construction document packages.
- Support project teams during the design development and construction documentation phases.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 5 plus years of experience creating construction documents for commercial/retail or similar projects
- Revit proficiency
- AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative proficiency
- Master's Degree in Architecture
- Professional Licensure
