Duties
Serving as a Audiovisual Production Specialist GS-1071-9/11/12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops (TOPS), Training Management Operations Directorate (TMO), E-Learning and Training Analytics Division (ETA), eLearning and Training Technology Support Branch (ETT), located in Glynco, Georgia.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide substantive assistance to staff and customers by performing a variety of media customer and staff service functions to facilitate their ability to support various component and partner organization missions
Typical Duties Include- Producing and directing complex audiovisual projects, including managing all administrative, logistical, and creative aspects to ensure productions are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with agency policies.
- Designing and developing multimedia and e-learning assets-such as graphics, animations, 3D models, and interactive content-to enhance law enforcement training and organizational communications.
- Leading post-production editing by combining video, audio, graphics, and special effects, delivering professional and cohesive audiovisual products that meet client and organizational objectives.
- Operating and troubleshooting advanced studio and field production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio systems, and streaming technologies, to support live and recorded events.
- Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and team members to develop production plans, advise on cost-effective techniques, and ensure audiovisual products effectively communicate intended messages.

Specialized ExperienceYou qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess the following:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: (1) Producing and directing audiovisual projects using a variety of technologies, (i.e, Adobe Creative Cloud, related Adobe products), within an approved budget. (2) Designing and developing multimedia assets (e.g., 3D models, interactive graphics, immersive technologies) and providing artistic direction for e-learning training.
(3) Leading post-production editing efforts, combining scenes, graphics, and soundtracks into cohesive projects, and advising on content continuity and presentation. (4) Providing audiovisual assistance during studio and field productions, to include operating complex equipment, composing scenes, and supporting streaming video and virtual training events in alignment with organizational mission requirements. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
