The Fargo VA Health Care System is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urology Physician to provide onsite services to Veterans. This role involves approximately 90% direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment, and surgical procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM Call: No call
Scope of Care:
Clinical Care: Evaluate and treat patients in a urological outpatient clinic, perform inpatient rounds, and manage consultations.
Surgical Procedures: Perform various urological surgeries including cystoscopies, vasectomies, scrotal surgeries, ureteroscopies, and transurethral surgeries for prostate disease and bladder cancer.
General Urology: Provide basic general urological care.
Coordination: Coordinate referrals to consultants when necessary and communicate critical test results to patients and providers.
Administrative: Maintain timely and accurate medical records and participate in quality management measures such as peer reviews and patient satisfaction surveys.
Requirements:
Licensure: Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
Education: Successful completion of an approved residency program in Urology, with at least 3 years devoted to Urological surgery.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and DEA certifications are required

$370 - $375 an hour
