Job Brief
Orthopedic Surgeons (Total Joint, Sports, Hand, Oncology, General) – We are looking for experienced Orthopedic surgeons in various sub‑specialties to treat patients with Orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to joint arthritic conditions, fractures, dislocations, muscle and ligament problems. Focus will be sub‑specialty based, with a mix of general practice.

What You Can Expect- Provides care for Orthopedic conditions using generally accepted standards of practice. Develops a plan of care for each patient, including complete history, physical examination, diagnosis, and appropriate treatment and/or referral, using all available resources in a cost‑efficient manner.
- Addresses clinical issues and develops medical aspects of the care plan, including recommendations regarding observations, lab tests, medications, referrals, ordering tests, and prescribing medications as appropriate.
- Acts as a member of a treatment team, ensuring delivery of quality care and maintaining professional competence.
- Confers with consulting physicians, midlevel providers, nurses, support staff, patients, and families concerning treatment and care of patients.
- Makes further appropriate specialty and sub‑specialty referrals, maintaining responsibility, assuring continuation of care.
- Participates in all department activities including on‑call responsibilities and meetings.
- Completes charting and required paperwork in a timely manner.
- MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedics and/or subspecialty
- Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX‑USA)
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the State of Georgia
- ACLS certification
