This 662-bed Level I Trauma Center is located in Georgia and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to support on-site neurosurgical call coverage across inpatient settings. The facility operates with established protocols and advanced surgical capabilities for complex spine and cranial neurosurgical procedures. APP support is integrated into the coverage model to facilitate continuity of care throughout all assigned call periods.

Georgia offers a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to varied interests. Outdoor recreation opportunities are available throughout the state, including state parks, hiking, and water activities. Coastal and inland options provide accessible leisure experiences across the region.

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for neurological surgery services at this on-site inpatient Level I Trauma Center, covering 7 nights per month scheduled as either every other day or 7 consecutive nights inclusive of weekends. Primary responsibilities include responding to neurosurgical consultations, managing spine and cranial surgical cases, and performing approximately 1 surgery per night with a maximum of 10 consults per shift.

The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation throughout assigned coverage periods. APP support is available to assist during call assignments.
