Position: Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Pulmonology and Critical Care

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive pulmonary care to patients with respiratory conditions
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Manage care for patients in critical care situations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in pulmonology and critical care
  • Participate in educational initiatives and training programs
  • Document patient interactions and medical histories accurately
  • Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required
  • Board certification in Pulmonology or Critical Care preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in respiratory health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education
  • Current medical license to practice in the state

Schedule:

7a-7p

Call Requirement: 7p-7a beeper call

Patient Volume: 10 per day

8 bed ICU

Duties:
Admissions, cross cover, and pulmonary consults

Required Procedures:
Standard pulmonary procedures

Support Staff:
Hospitalists, ER physicians, ICU nurses, and respiratory therapists

Must be board-certified

Additional

Certifications:

ACLS and GA DEA
