The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for Childcare Assistant Teacher in the Childcare Center at Bryan County Elementary School, for the school year.

The Co-Teacher works collaboratively with other staff members and children in day‑to‑day activities in the classroom and helps to create a safe and caring environment. Assists in all activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.

• Child Development Associate credential or 6 hours of Early Childhood Education credit preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain these)
• Ability to form positive relationships with children.
• Knowledge of social, emotional needs of children.
• Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
• Adequate knowledge of principles and policies of safety and suitable activities for children.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
