• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 for Elementary and Middle school roles
• Must be at least 21 for High School roles
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Substitute Paraprofessional: $9/hour

• Ability to build a flexible work schedule that works for you

• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
• Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Supporting and following through with children’s goals and accommodations, facilitating small and large group instruction, and performing daily administrative functions.
• The substitute Early Childhood Education aide may be required to tend to the personal needs of children including lifting, holding, diapering, feeding and potty training, preparing class materials.
• Performing clerical duties.
• Preparing and disinfecting room and toys.
• Any physical touching required by the Early Childhood Education aide should be relevant to the duties of the job.
• Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
