Job Description

Do you bring out the star in your students? Our motto here at Taylor Robinson Music is "Learn to Play From the Heart", and we are looking for private music instructors who share the same philosophy! We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Gordon, GA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Work Arrangements
  • Lessons can occur in the students’ homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. Webcam lessons are a smaller portion of the student base; most students prefer in-person lessons.
  • Local instructors should be able to host students and/or travel to students in the Gordon, GA area.
Compensation & Schedule
  • You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate.
  • You have the freedom to set your own schedule and your own curriculum/lesson plans.
  • Advertising, marketing, and SEO work are handled by the company to bring students in; billing is handled to lighten the load so you can focus on teaching.
Responsibilities
  • Teach private music lessons (with emphasis on Voice) and adapt to student needs.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with the office and students.
  • Be organized and punctual for all lessons.
Qualifications
  • Formal music training is not mandatory but one of the following is required: degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with kids.
Application

If you have one of the above and are interested in learning more, please apply using the link below:

Safety & COVID-19
  • While some students are comfortable with webcam lessons, most prefer in-person lessons at the instructor’s studio or the student’s home.
  • You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
