Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with pre-school or early childhood exceptional learners preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a range of learning differences
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and specialists
• Patient, adaptive, and creative teaching style

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct adaptive instruction to pre-school students in a special education classroom
• Develop and tailor lesson plans that accommodate individual learning goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, integrated support
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team planning sessions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where each child feels valued and understood
