Effective Date: 2026 - 2027 School Year
Qualifications:
Georgia Certification in
Culinary Arts (FLD 669)
and/or
Culinary Arts Endorsement (FLD 884)
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate Degree in Culinary Arts.
* Minimum of five years of food service experience or two years of
supervisory and/or management experience in food service.
* Possess strong knowledge of culinary practices, nutrition, safety,
and sanitation.
* Serv Safe certified with the National Restaurant Association.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* American Culinary Federation certification as a Certified Culinary
Educator (C.C.E.), or certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.), or certified
Executive Pastry Chef (C.E.P.C.).
* Post-secondary teaching experience in Culinary Arts in a two-year
college environment.
