About the Program

Think Big Youth Organization brings educational resources to low‑income areas to combat learning loss and increase comprehension and retention. The majority of programming is delivered on‑site at low‑income housing communities to reduce transportation barriers.

• Assist in improving program delivery for after‑school and summer learning programs.
• Expand programs within existing service areas (Midway, Hinesville, Ashburn, and Folkston, GA).
• Develop academic and social‑emotional strategies for after‑school and summer programs.
• Research opportunities to increase funding for program sustainability and expansion.
• Create life‑skill enrichment strategies for young adult and adult programs.

• Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend.
• Health coverage (details at Ameri Corps VISTA website).
• Childcare assistance if eligible.
• Training opportunities.
• Relocation allowance.
• Living allowance.

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• Minimum age 18; no upper age limit.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Experience or interest in education, non‑profit management, youth development, or related fields is desirable.
