BPS Instructional Coach - This is a full-time Instructional Coach position at Berrien Primary School.

• Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience and a valid GA teaching certificate;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and data-based problem solving skills.
• Knowledgeable in assessment techniques, development, and data analysis.
• Physical demands: significant standing, occasional sitting, kneeling and walking; lifting no more than 30 lb regularly.
• Position is a 200-day contract with an independent supplement.

• Serve as a member of the school Leadership Team, attending all meetings and contributing to:
• Training teachers in data analysis to set measurable school improvement and student-learning goals.
• Training teachers in research-based instructional decision making.
• Providing input to develop a school improvement plan with research-based strategies and standards-based professional learning.
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the improvement plan.
• Working with teacher teams to develop long-range plans based on diagnostic, formative, and summative data.
• Leading or participating in regular team meetings to train teachers, offer standard-based professional learning, and facilitate differentiated instruction.
• Planning and conducting follow-up classroom activities (coaching, modeling, co-planning).
• Providing feedback and support to teachers toward meeting improvement goals.
• Collaborating with administrative staff to create professional growth plans and support teachers based on need.
• Participating in professional growth activities such as the Instructional Coach Academy, GSSA Coaching Conversations, and CPRESA workshops.
