Job Description:

Purpose
The Center for Student Enterprises and Entrepreneurship Development (C-SEED) seeks a Graduate Assistant to support and execute entrepreneurship initiatives across campus. This role works closely with C-SEED staff, faculty, and campus partners to plan events, manage operations, mentor student entrepreneurs, and contribute to a structured, innovation-focused environment at Berry College.

In alignment with Berry College's mission, we educate the head, heart, and hands to inspire leaders of integrity who cultivate thriving communities. This position plays a key role in fostering experiential learning and entrepreneurial development across campus.

General Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute major C-SEED events, including the PITCH, Entrepreneurship Week, and other student engagement events.
  • Plan and deliver campus markets such as the Entrepreneurship Student Market, Spires Market, and other popup markets on campus.
  • Support entrepreneurship workshops, student mentoring, and venture development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with campus departments, vendors, and external partners to execute programming.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase C-SEED visibility and awareness across campus.
Requirements:
  • Admitted to the Berry College MBA program as a part-time, two-year student.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and service-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general website tools.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In).
  • Experience in event planning or program coordination is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred
Position Details
  • Hours:

    20 hours per week.
  • Schedule:

    Primarily daytime, with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
  • Compensation:
    Hourly pay plus tuition remission (up to six graduate credit hours per semester, including summer).
  • Requirement:
    Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Other Responsibilities

Operations & Systems
  • Manage C-SEED administrative operations, including scheduling, room reservations, and coordination with campus offices.
  • Maintain and organize digital systems, shared drives, and internal documentation.
  • Develop and refine processes, templates, and standard operating procedures for recurring initiatives.
Communications & Engagement
  • Develop and manage communications, including email outreach, social media content, and promotional materials.
  • Promote C-SEED initiatives and increase student engagement across campus.
Student & Program Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for student entrepreneurs seeking guidance and resources.
  • Support the development of pitch materials, presentations, and competition readiness.
  • Assist in onboarding, training, and supervising undergraduate Lifeworks team members.
  • Support Sigma Nu Tau programming and related initiatives.
Event & Financial Coordination
  • Assist with budget tracking, purchasing, reimbursements, and vendor coordination.
Data & Strategic Support
  • Track participation, engagement metrics, and program outcomes for reporting and improvement.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, alumni, and community partners.
  • Support donor stewardship efforts in collaboration with Advancement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, programming effectiveness, and new initiative development
