Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a focused and driven Teacher to join our team. The best fit must create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to early childhood education.

• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom environment.
• Encourage exploration, problem-solving, and hands‑on learning through engaging activities.
• Monitor and assess children's development and provide individualized support where needed.
• Establish strong communication with parents/guardians to discuss progress and concerns.
• Organize and facilitate group activities, storytelling, music, and art projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning space that meets health and safety guidelines.
• Guide children in developing self‑regulation skills, conflict resolution, and positive social interactions.
• Prepare classroom materials and resources to support learning objectives.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the curriculum and overall learning experience of learners.
• Track attendance, maintain records, and prepare reports on student development.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding student development, concerns, and achievements.

• Child Development Associate Certification is an edge
• Has experience working with children
• Strong understanding of early childhood development theories and best practices.
• Adapt diverse teaching methods accordingly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a love for learning in young children.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques that support emotional and behavioral growth.
• Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (preferred).
