Job Description:
The position of School Counselor is designed for the purpose of providing a comprehensive school counseling program that is preventative in design, developmental in implementation, and supports students in the areas of academic achievement, college and career planning, and personal and social development.
Qualifications:
- Credential:
Valid Georgia Credential or license authorizing service in areas assigned. Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia Service certificate in School Counseling and meet the Professional Qualifications for the position. - Education:
Master's Degree required - Experience:
Minimum of three years of successful school counseling experience or completion of a yearlong counseling internship is preferred.
