Compensation:
Minimum annual starting salary $82,110, with potential increases based on qualifications, experience, and departmental or grant funds. The position is a non‑tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor with a focus on Anatomy & Physiology (A&P) for biology majors and health science majors. The candidate will also teach courses in other biology disciplines, such as molecular biology, genetics/genomics, ecology/evolution, virology, and student‑led research in teaching labs. Responsibilities include curriculum development, innovative teaching, student mentorship, and service on departmental, campus, and university committees.
Responsibilities- Lead A&P instruction for undergraduate programs, including labs.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in complementary biology areas.
- Develop and implement innovative curricula and teaching strategies.
- Mentor and collaborate with capstone MS students and interdisciplinary research projects through the Center for Computational & Integrative Biology (CCIB).
- Serve on departmental, campus, and university committees as required.
- PhD in anatomy, physiology, or related biology field with a strong teaching record.
- Demonstrated expertise in undergraduate teaching and curriculum development.
- Experience or interest in guiding capstone/MS students and interdisciplinary research.
- Minimum annual salary $82,110.
