Assistant Professor – English (Full‑time, Tenure‑track, 9‑month appointment)

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) invites applications for a 9‑month tenure‑track faculty position in the Department of English.

The role includes teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, conducting research, advising and recruiting students, curriculum development, publishing, grant writing, and participating in accreditation, assessment, and departmental/college service.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the English department.
• Conduct research in a chosen area of English, publish findings, and secure external funding.
• Advise and recruit students, participate in curriculum development.
• Engage in accreditation procedures, program assessment, and service to the department, college, and university.

• PhD in English or a related field (anticipated completion by appointment date).
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a degree‑granting post‑secondary program.
• Proven experience online using learning management systems.
