Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

At The Learning Experience, our Twos classrooms are joyful, structured environments where children build independence, confidence, and early communication skills through hands‑on learning and consistent routines. Our teachers bring the L.E.A.P. curriculum to life while helping young learners develop the foundational skills needed for preschool success.

• Lead a classroom of 2-year-old children in a safe, nurturing learning environment
• Implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum
• Support language development, social-emotional growth, and early problem-solving skills
• Guide daily classroom routines including toileting readiness, meals, transitions, and rest time
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
• Maintain an organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones, progress, and daily activities
• Partner with assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency and success
• Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing and safety requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior childcare, daycare, preschool, or toddler classroom experience required
• CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting young children's growth and development
• Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
