Duties
Participates in home visits, parent teacher conferences and other meetings
Ensures continuity of program in teacher's absence
Monitors students during various phases of school day
Maintains a clean and organized learning environment
Prepares instructional materials related to classroom lessons
Assists with teaching personal care routines: feeding, toileting and personal hygiene
Operates instructional equipment and technology devices
Accompanies/supervises students on field trips
Produces material to display educational objectives to class
Applies assistive technology for recording student data
