The Instructional Technologies office has student employment opportunities year round. We are always looking for students who are interested in broadcasting, video production and engineering, and working with us is a great way for Engineering students to sit in on upper level classes. However, being an Engineering major, or having experience in the skills listed above is not required to work for us, full training is provided.

Technical Directors operate the video equipment used to broadcast courses, provide technology support to faculty, and facilitate distance students' learning experience. TDs can work anywhere from 2-20 hours per week.

• Starting Pay: $15 an hour

We would like students who apply with us to be able to work a minimum of 6 hours a week in order to give us more flexibility with scheduling. However, students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week if the hours fit in with our schedule.

Each student is eligible for up to a $0.50 an hour increase per semester. Raises are based on merit and skill and are given at the discretion of the supervisor.
