Special Education Teacher - Dawson, GA

This full-time opportunity starts August 3, 2026, and concludes May 27, 2027. You'll work 35 to 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, serving students with diverse learning needs on a manageable caseload. Engage collaboratively with fellow educators, share insights with support staff, and create individualized learning experiences tailored to each students capabilities and goals.

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Georgia
• Skills and experience working with elementary and/or high school learners in a special education setting
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and colleagues
• Positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to professional growth
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and compliance responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt instructional materials to meet students diverse learning needs
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that celebrates each students strengths
• Monitor and record student progress, providing timely feedback
• Partner with general educators, administrators, and support personnel
