• Georgia Paraprofessional License: Must have or be eligible to hold a Georgia Paraprofessional License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC)
• Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of two years of college credit OR a high school diploma and a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional assessment test. Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Responsibilities: Working under the direction of a certified teacher, provide support services to the classroom, including:
  • Prepare instructional materials
  • Instruct/supervise students
  • Perform clerical tasks
  • Experience in a variety of special education settings is preferred, specifically self-contained environments that require assistance with physical needs (feeding, toileting, lifting, and mobility), health care procedures, behavioral management, and support addressing social-emotional needs.

Full-Time
