Position Title: Secondary Grades Classroom Teacher

Reports to: Building Principal/Director

Work Schedule: 190-Day Contract

Hours to Work: 8 hours

Primary Function: Provide instruction for students that enables them to learn and achieve to the maximum of their abilities.

Requirements:

• Educational Level: Bachelor s Degree or higher
• Certification/License

  Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in any Secondary Grades (6-12) subject area

  Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners; student management
