Regional Safety Specialist - U.S. South

The Regional Safety Specialist provides hands-on support to ensure safety programs are applied consistently across sites, maintain regulatory compliance, and partner with leadership to identify and reduce risk.

Responsibilities

* Conduct regular site visits to assess safety performance, ensure compliance, and evaluate control effectiveness

* Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and timely corrective actions

* Identify and mitigate high-risk exposures (machine guarding, lockout/tagout, mobile equipment interactions, dust hazards)

* Coordinate and support safety training, including onboarding, refresher, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

* 5 years of industrial safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industry

* Experience in environments with mobile equipment, machinery, energy isolation, and dust-related hazards

* Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices

* Proven ability to lead incident investigations, assess hazards, and implement corrective actions

* Valid U.S. driver's license with ability to travel regularly

* Organized, adaptable, and analytical, with a proactive approach to managing priorities and identifying risks
