TXRX Labs

We are a workforce connector for the manufacturing sector. At our new facility, the East End Maker Hub, we bring together manufacturing companies old and new - welding fabrication and precision machining, robotics, and 3D printing - but all with an eye toward technology and innovation.

Modern Manufacturing

In this 3-day “job interview” you will get the opportunity to show your skills in five areas - electronics, woodshop, CAD, welding, and machining. We are looking for talent and potential - workers that know how to be efficient and professional, but who are also able to learn new skills in this evolving industry.

Local manufacturers with whom we do work, many co-located at the East End Maker Hub, are seeking workers with the skills listed above. We will be testing your abilities to find ideal matches for their growing businesses. Eligible workers will be eligible for a subsidized internship with one of our employer partners.

Electrical Technologist

As a technologist, you will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions. Your duties will include:

  • Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, and technical manuals
  • Inspect designs for quality control, report findings, and recommend changes, if necessary
  • Draw diagrams and write specifications about design details of experimental electronics units
