Job Description

We need a dedicated Data Engineer to build scalable infrastructure that integrates multiple data sources into unified, accessible views. Over the next few months, the focus will be on migrating data pipelines to a modern architecture, improving governance, and enabling better internal data sharing.

• Lead a high-performing data engineering team by driving collaboration, growth, and accountability. Set clear goals, provide strategic direction, and develop talent to ensure long‑term success.
• Manage and streamline team operations, bringing a deep understanding of data engineering challenges and optimizing workflows.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end development lifecycle of data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and technical excellence.
• Implement and refine engineering best practices using agile methodologies while continuously improving workflows, tools, and processes.
• Act as a bridge between engineering and other teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities. Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating innovative solutions that enhance data infrastructure, scalability, and performance.

• Strong communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role. Proven track record of successfully leading data engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of data engineering, preferably with experience in Snowflake and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Domo. Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Ability to manage and scale a team in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Proven experience in performance management, mentorship, and career development.
• Strong analytical thinking with excellent decision‑making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strategic and results‑driven mindset. Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
